The Apple Group has launched numerous new products. With the Apple Watch, the tech company is even pursuing a different strategy.

The American Apple Group announced on Thursday night that all iPhone users will soon be able to subscribe to and use the fitness and wellness service Apple Fitness+. According to a statement, this will work even if customers do not have an Apple Watch.

The update will be available in 21 countries this fall, it added. Among those countries is Switzerland.

Euphonious names

In addition, the fourth season of “Time for Walking” with new guests will be launched on Fitness+ starting next Monday. Among them are award-winning actress Regina Hall, Latin Grammy Award winner Nicky Jam and Emmy Award winner Leslie Jordan, according to the statement.

Apple Fitness+ is available as a subscription service in Switzerland for 12.90 Swiss francs per month or 99 Swiss francs per year. It can be shared with up to five other family members. A much larger customer base can now subscribe to this service.

Pimping the smartphones

At the same time the Apple Group announced that it would be launching new iPhones. From September 9, the new 14-series devices can be pre-ordered and cost from 929 Swiss francs in various sizes.

The new iPhones are said to have significantly improved batteries. In addition, the photo mechanism for pictures in low light will be renewed. And the new devices have another exciting feature: the iPhone 14 can detect a serious car accident and then call emergency services and notify registered emergency contacts.
